To reduce the environmental impact of all parts of our business, we are currently working on a broad range of initiatives, which include transitioning to more sustainable raw materials, using more sustainable packaging and making our business more circular. By 2025, we will have doubled our spending on sustainable initiatives compared to 2023.
The LEGO Group calls on suppliers to drive towards net-zero targets
With 99 percent of carbon emissions coming from outside the company’s operations, the LEGO Group’s suppliers play a key role in achieving sustainability targets. The new Supplier Sustainability Programme outlines near term targets suppliers need to meet by 2026.
2 million children tackle global challenges with the LEGO Group’s free Build the Change program
The number of children learning about sustainability through the LEGO Group’s free Build the Change social impact program has more than doubled since 2022, according to recent figures*. The program, which is supported by the LEGO Foundation and empowers children to build a more sustainable future through play, impacted over 2 million children last year ― up from 900,000 in 2022 ― and is on track to reach even more kids in 2024.
